#How to add signature in outlook 365 update
It's VERY far from ideal, but it keeps you from having to delete contacts every time that you need to add or update digital signatures for existing Outlook 2013 / 2016 contacts.ġ. So I have come up with a work around for this problem. Updating existing contacts still does NOT work. It doesn't work like the video for me.ĪFAIK the only thing that works is that for a new sender with a digital signature I can add that person to my Contacts and the certificate will be saved. The other weird thing is that when I hover the cursor over an email address, a Contact Card pops up. NONE of these options (including the Contact entry form) allows me to save the new digital certificate with the contact! Is not listed in the form - also usesless. However, double left clicking the email address brings up the Contact entry form for an existing contact but the certificate But if the sender is an existingĬontact the only options are "Edit Contact" and "Open Contact Card" both of which open a Contact Card, not the Contact entry form - useless. If the sender is not an existing contact "Add to Outlook Contacts" opens a new Contact entry form - which is good. I edited the registry to enable the Legacy GAL dialog but that doesn't seem to help with this problem either. I can open or edit the Contact Card, but no way to save the Certificate. When I try to update an existing contact with their new digital signature, it does not give me a way to save it. I do not think Microsoft fixed it at all. I believe I have the latest updates: MSO. The big problem is updating an existing contact with their new digital certificate.
